TAX REFUND is not the Internal Revenue Service, not a state tax agency, and not affiliated with either. IRS names and links are citations so you can leave this site and use the official tools.
Refund timing described on the refund page is general information published by the IRS: status is often available within 24 hours after an e-filed current-year return is received, and many e-filed refunds are issued within about three weeks. Delays happen. Amended returns are not tracked on Where's My Refund. This website cannot see your refund.
Bracket and standard-deduction figures in the estimator are taken from IRS revenue procedures and the IRS description of the 2025 standard deduction after the 2025 tax law. They can be revised. Head-of-household and married-filing-separately thresholds should be checked against the revenue procedure before you rely on them.
We do not display invented preparer credentials. If a credential is required for the work you want, ask for it in a confirmed engagement. Absence of a number on this website is not a claim that a preparer is authorized to e-file.
